Celebrate Irish Heritage with a Glimpse o' the Green

Croagh Patrick Across the Greens
6 x 8 inches oil on panel
$350.

I can still feel the wind whipping my easel away, barely protected by our little touring van. We stopped to admire the view of the trail up Croagh Patrick where the patron saint of Ireland had made his pilgrimage. A touch of chill had turned the brush to rich fall color, yet the grasses retained the springlike verdant tones. On the way home the stop at a local pub for a Pint was only too welcome!

This old house looks down a rolling hay field with Daisies, Indian Paintbrush and Blueberry Bushes into Somes Harbor on Mt. Desert Island, Maine.
