a little wet at the time of shooting the photo, hence the glare toning down the color. Note the thick

You may recognize the black bass weather vane atop the Cuttyhunk Island Historical Society. Painted this at about 5 am from a friend's cottage porch - still in pajamas. I can imagine this painting hung in a spot you look at first thing in the morning, as I painted it!
